The role requires a strong technical background in data center operations, people leadership, and the ability to align with AWS global standards. This is a US-based leadership position with security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Current, active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Data Center Technicians and hourly staff across multiple data centers, installing, maintaining and decommissioning network and server hardware.
• Oversee safety, security, availability, quality and performance of the team, ensuring positive customer experience across shifts.
• Manage team performance; conduct performance reviews and address staffing needs.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in line with organizational policies and procedures.
• Mentor and develop career progression for direct reports and team members.
• Foster learning and development in both technical and soft skills (critical thinking, EI, adaptability).
• Coordinate support of change management with electrical and mechanical operations teams.
• Develop and share operational best practices regionally and globally.
