Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Operations Site Manager for the ADC InfraOps DCO to lead compute operations across regional data centers. You will oversee safety, availability, and cost management while guiding a team of technicians in a fast-paced, highly secure environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical knowledge of data center operations, and collaboration with electrical and mechanical teams to ensure scalable, reliable infrastructure for AWS customers.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of Data Center Operations experience
Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of Data Center Technicians across multiple data centers, installing, maintaining and decommissioning hardware.
Oversee safety, security, availability, quality, and performance of the team, while driving a positive customer experience across multiple shift schedules.
Manage team and individual performance; delivering performance reviews and addressing staffing needs.
Mentor, train and develop career progression for direct reports and members of the organization.
Develop, improve and share operational best practices across the region and with peers globally.
