Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Data Center Operations Manager to lead diverse teams responsible for day-to-day data center activities, including hardware diagnostics, outages, and continuous improvements.

You will mentor staff, manage projects, and ensure service levels across multiple sites in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong people management, hardware and network repair knowledge, and a track record of delivering reliable data center operations in 24/7

Qualifications

4+ years IT experience or Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or equivalent
2+ years of people management
2+ years of operations and on-call support for data center facilities, mission critical plants, or production facilities experience

Responsibilities

Prioritize and manage data center trouble tickets across facilities
Lead and develop data center operation teams across locations
Oversee day-to-day data center operations, 24/7 shift coverage and hardware logistics
Manage and deliver mid-size data center projects
Ensure KPI tracking for IT capacity and reliability
Lead large scale outage responses as call leader
Drive process improvements and documentation across the data center space
