Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager to lead critical physical infrastructure and ensure high reliability for AWS data centers across multiple sites.

You will manage on-site engineering technicians, drive improvement projects, and coordinate with vendors to meet contractual SLAs. Qualifications

• 2+ years of people management and team development experience.
• 5+ years of engineering work managing large-scale services experience.
• Experience maintaining SLAs through proactive issue detection and reporting.
• Experience operating a mission-critical team or product.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical physical infrastructure.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians in all facets of their career.
• Engage in improvement projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate daily with third-party vendors ensuring adherence to SLAs.
• Effectively manage the operations budget and expenditures.
• Routinely operate as the after-hour on-call Data Center Facility Manager for the region.
