Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Market Technical Manager (MTM) to oversee technical, telecom, security, MEP, HVAC and electrical systems for the Market property portfolio. The role includes monthly site visits, audits, and leading projects from large construction to quick wins across multiple data centers.

You will coordinate with internal teams and customers, develop operating standards, review drawings, and ensure adherence to company processes. A BA/BS or 15+ years in data centers is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 15+ years data center experience in lieu of degree.
• Expertise in the operations of critical MEP infrastructure including UPS, generators, cooling systems, and electrical distribution.
• Strong ability to manage multiple complex projects and interpret AutoCAD and Visio drawings.
• Excellent communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage technical, telecom, security, MEP systems across Market properties.
• Travel monthly to properties to audit and inspect facilities.
• Audit maintenance MOPs and equipment SOPs for quality and conformance.
• Collect and report operating metrics to track site performance.
• Coordinate major activities among sites and track issues to resolution.
• Support construction, testing and commissioning of new data centers.
