Job summary

Digital Realty Trust, L.P. in Ashburn, VA, seeks a Market Technical Manager to coordinate and manage the technical, telecom, security, MEP, HVAC and electrical systems across the Market property portfolio.

The role includes monthly travel to properties and annual shell inspections, with projects ranging from large construction to quick-turn tasks. You will lead audits, develop operating standards, review drawings, and coordinate with customers, property management and sales.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or 15 years data center experience in lieu of degree.
• Expertise in critical MEP infrastructure operations including UPS and generators.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and analyze project documents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage technical, telecom, security, MEP, HVAC and electrical systems across the Market portfolio.
• Conduct monthly site visits and annual shell inspections at properties in the region.
• Audit maintenance SOPs, site Change Management, and report operating metrics.
• Coordinate major activities among sites and track issues to resolution.
• Support construction, testing and commissioning of new data centers.
• Develop operating standards, processes, and installation drawings review.
