Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Market Technical Manager (MTM) – Data Center Operations to oversee critical MEP infrastructure across the Market property portfolio. You will coordinate technical, telecom, security, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, and lead cross-functional teams.

The role requires monthly site visits, management of large construction projects to minor improvements, and development of installation and operation standards for power systems, ensuring operational

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and minimum 10 years of related experience, or 15 years of data-center related experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• Expertise in operations of critical MEP infrastructure (UPS, generators, cooling, CRA/air handlers, electrical distribution).
• Strong understanding of infrastructure redundancy configurations and multi-tenant data-center occupancy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage technical, telecom, security, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems across Market properties.
• Travel to properties monthly for audits and short visits to other regional properties.
• Manage projects from large construction to small improvements; develop operating standards and procedures.
