Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced program manager to lead onboarding and training initiatives for AWS Data Center builders in the Frederick, MD area. You will design, deliver, and measure onboarding solutions, coordinating across physical infrastructure teams and global programs.

You will manage mentoring, training logistics, and a proprietary training platform, delivering scalable experiences while maintaining safety and security standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System program experience.
• 3+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or distribution industries experience.
• 3+ years of advanced Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) full time experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology field.
• Experience developing and delivering presentations to large and diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deeply involved in technical design of the onboarding and learning systems; manage complex technology initiatives.
• Partner with teams within physical infrastructure to align processes and coordinate onboarding training.
• Define, organize, and manage scheduling, logistics, and administration of training across cross-functional teams.
• Develop and monitor internal metrics to drive improvements in onboarding and training processes.
• Administer and support Amazon's proprietary web-based training platform for safety and job-critical functions.
• Manage communications touchpoints with new builders via emails, forums, and other channels.
• Assist new hires in onboarding tech and setting up laptops, software, and tools.
