Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Program Manager to lead the AWS Data Center Community's Facility Operations Center initiatives in Herndon, VA. You will drive end-to-end programs spanning multiple teams and regions, focusing on life-safety systems and 24x7 infrastructure operations.

You will shape the program vision, align senior leadership, and deliver scalable frameworks, training, and automation to improve operational efficiency and event response globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Strong project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• 5+ years’ experience in infrastructure risk management and enterprise risk management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Owns and drives the strategy and execution of a large FOC program across multiple teams and regions.
• Contributes to vision and roadmap designs, driving clarity through data analysis and stakeholder engagement.
• Define business problems and develop resultant solutions with risk strategy.
• Designs, builds, and owns scalable mechanisms that improve operational excellence globally.
• Owns the global FOC training architecture and certification programs across regions.
• Drives efficiency by delivering automation programs meeting KPIs in delivery and quality.
• Contributes to cross-organizational collaboration, negotiating resources and improving processes.
