Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced onboarding and training program manager to join the operations team in Frederick, MD. You will lead the design, build, delivery, and measurement of onboarding and training for new AWS Data Center builders worldwide.

You will collaborate with diverse teams including software, hardware, and network engineers, and influence training initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of maintenance/operational management or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in a technology environment.
• Experience presenting to large and diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Involve in the technical design of onboarding and learning systems; manage complex initiatives and deploy new mechanisms.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to coordinate onboarding training activities.
• Organize scheduling, logistics, and administration of instructor-led training and onboarding across cross-functional teams.
• Develop and monitor internal metrics to improve onboarding processes.
• Provide administration and support for a proprietary training platform related to safety and critical functions.
• Manage communications with new hires and ensure smooth onboarding experiences.
