Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced program manager to lead onboarding and orientation for new builders across AWS Data Centers.

This role reports to local leadership and collaborates with global onboarding programs, requiring strong organization, ambiguity handling, and informal leadership. You will design onboarding systems, manage scheduling and logistics, and drive metrics to improve the end‑to‑end orientation experience for new hires in the Reno area, with potential travel

Qualifications

2+ years of program or project management experience.
3+ years of advanced Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Experience facilitating in group settings with an audience of 50+.
Experience communicating clearly with leadership and cross‑functional teams.
Experience with Learning and Development / instruction management.

Responsibilities

Design onboarding and learning systems; manage onboarding initiatives and deliver critical solutions.
Partner with physical infrastructure teams to align processes and coordinate onboarding activities.
Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and administration of onboarding activities across cross‑functional teams.
Develop and monitor internal metrics and KPIs to drive improvements in onboarding processes.
Lead basic PXT onboarding for New Hires and facilitate communications with new builders.
