Job summary

CloudOne Digital in Ashburn, VA seeks an On-Site Data Center Technician for the third shift (Midnight–9am ET). The role covers hardware decommissioning, data destruction, server and network gear installation, and daily datacenter operations.

You will track inventory, perform audits, respond to tickets, and communicate with customers via phone, chat, and email to deliver reliable hands-on support.

Qualifications

• Decommissioning hardware and destruction of data on reclaimed devices.
• Track inventory and maintain accurate recordkeeping.
• Test, troubleshoot, and deploy servers, firewalls, switches, and related gear.
• Perform audits of datacenter infrastructure and support tickets.
• Communicate with customers via telephone, chat, and email to provide hands-on support.

Responsibilities

• Decommissioning hardware and data destruction.
• Rack servers and install cabling for data center infrastructure.
• Install operating systems and apply base configurations.
• Monitor tickets, chats, and alerts; provide initial hands-on response.
