Job summary

Capital Electric is seeking a Data Center OEM Business Development Manager to drive growth in the data center OEM market, including hyperscale operators and mission-critical facilities. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and suppliers to identify opportunities and secure major projects.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of data center electrical systems and procurement processes, with cross-functional collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of business development or sales experience in data centers, OEM, electrical distribution, critical power, or industrial infrastructure markets.
• Strong knowledge of electrical products and data center infrastructure solutions (e.g., UPS, switchgear, PDU, busway, cooling).
• Experience working with OEMs, EPC firms, consulting engineers, or mission‑critical contractors.
• Proven ability to manage complex technical opportunities and long project cycles.
• Excellent communication, technical presentation, and relationship‑building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth in the data center OEM market and target new opportunities.
• Provide SME guidance on data center electrical systems and procurement processes.
• Drive bid responses, large project proposals, and technical quote development.
• Build relationships with OEMs, design‑build firms, and data center operators.
• Facilitate internal collaboration and training on market trends and OEM products.
• Maintain pipeline, report revenue and milestones, and track opportunities.
