Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an Infrastructure Delivery Network Technician to support a growing team in our infrastructure operations across multiple U.S. sites. The role centers on stability, automation, and scalable data center networks.

You will assist with capacity management, network implementation, and troubleshooting, with opportunities to travel regionally. Strong communication and prior data center networking experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant experience.
• 2+ years in a data center or other critical environment.
• 2+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment experience (VFL, power meter, OTDR).
• 2+ years of IT experience or cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
• Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Work closely with Network Engineering & Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth rollout of established designs and products.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing and inter connectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network device configuration and low level application interaction.
• Up to 20% travel within geographical work area may be required; some travel outside traditional work area may be requested.
• Troubleshooting cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
