Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is hiring a Network Deploy Technician to support AWS data center networks and assist in scaling and automating network operations.

You will work with little supervision, coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, and help drive reliable network performance across multiple locations. The role emphasizes hands-on hardware, cabling and troubleshooting with a focus on large-scale enterprise networks, while participating in shift work and on-site travel within the

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Experience with networking hardware troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Manage work and priorities through ticketing system to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specify Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
• Participate in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
