Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to join our Infrastructure Operations team.

This role supports scaling data center networks, automating operations, and collaborating with network engineers and project managers to deliver reliable services. Responsibilities include managing tickets, troubleshooting networking and interconnectivity, provisioning power and cooling needs, and assisting in hardware migrations and room builds across regional data centers.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
