Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Delivery Network Technician to support the company’s vast data center network across multiple US locations. You will assist in scaling operations, document procedures, and collaborate with network teams to implement and troubleshoot designs.

The role requires autonomous work, strong communication, and the ability to travel regionally as needed, with on-site duties at a site location.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ years of data center experience.
Associate's degree in information technology or computer science preferred.
1+ years of Linux operating systems experience preferred.
Certifications like CompTIA A+/Network+, Cisco/CCNA or AWS relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Participate in migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows.
Work with Network Engineering and Network Technical Project Manager teams to rollout designs.
Troubleshoot networking, routing and interconnectivity issues.
Travel up to 20% within geographical work area may be required; some travel outside may be requested.
Troubleshoot cabling infrastructure connectivity issues.
