Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to join our infrastructure operations team. You will help scale data center networks, work with customers and vendors, and implement procedures to automate and scale our network infrastructure.

The role requires hands-on experience with enterprise networks, Linux, and hardware troubleshooting, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Travel within regional work areas is expected, and a valid driver’s license is required for

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
