Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Network Deploy Technician to join our infrastructure operations team and support scaling across multiple data center locations. You will assist with capacity management, work with internal customers and vendors, and help drive smooth project execution.

You will apply experience with large-scale enterprise networks, hardware rollout, and troubleshooting, following best practices to ensure reliable and secure operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in computer networking.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
• Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Work closely with Network Engineering & Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth rollout of established designs and products.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing and inter connectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network device configuration and low level application interaction.
• Troubleshooting cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
