Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Network Deployment Planner to join the Global Network Delivery team in Seattle.

You will scope and plan interdependent capacity scaling projects and new network capacity deployments across several data center locations, reviewing forecasts and ensuring resources are available for execution. Qualifications

Experience with network hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers
Experience in project management
1+ years of data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations experience

Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to timelines.
Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes with a focus on improvement.
Collaborate with Install/Deployment Technicians, Supply Chain & Procurement, Network Engineers and Technical Project Managers to deliver customer capacity.
Knowledge of network cabling and optic types.
Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
Familiarity with common networking terms.
Excellent judgment and analytical skills; prioritize tasks based on fluctuating needs.
