Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in the United States is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager for the Global Network Capacity Delivery team within AWS Data Center Delivery.

You will scope and plan capacity scaling projects across multiple data centers and ensure resources are available for execution. You’ll work with internal teams, drive continuous improvements, and lead efforts to deploy cutting-edge server technologies in high‑pressure environments while maintaining safety and cost efficiency

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience
• 2+ years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, Data Center Operations, or Technical Project Management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience in computer networking
• Experience working with Linux operating systems
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical point of contact for internal teams.
• Perform Process Improvement. Gather data on common failures or waste and work with supporting teams to get them resolved / minimized / eliminated
• Perform rigorous hardware verification inspections to insure quality on server racks, networking devices, and associated components.
• Launch new network capacity
• May be required to assist Deployment Technicians with rack deployments on heavy deployment days or Cabling team
