Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to support next-generation networks within AWS infrastructure. The role focuses on scalable, enterprise-class networks, with collaboration across software, hardware and security teams.

Expect to contribute to automation, capacity planning, and 24/7 operations in a fast-paced environment. You will engage with internal customers and vendors, manage rack and power setups, and assist in project migrations and hardware rollouts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in computer networking.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
