Job summary

Amazon NW Deployment Planner II seeks a highly capable professional to plan, implement, and coordinate network deployment projects across AWS data centers. You will manage interdependent capacity scaling, review forecasts, and ensure resources are available for successful execution by installation teams.

The role requires strong technical understanding of data center networking, cabling, and project management, with autonomy and excellent communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of project management experience.
• 1+ years of relevant discipline work experience.
• Experience with network hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to timelines.
• Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes with a focus on improvement.
• Collaborate with Install/Deployment Technicians, Supply Chain & Procurement, Network Engineers and Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth delivery of on-demand customer capacity.
• Knowledge of network cabling and optic types.
• Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
• Familiarity with common networking terms.
• Excellent judgement and analytical skills, with strong prioritization and time management.
• Coordinate design, project timeline/schedule and construction milestones.
• Experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical path management.
