Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical and drive growth as part of the National Accounts team. Remote work with 50% travel, senior leadership required to set strategy and execute with executive stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor's or equivalent, 10+ years in sales or business development and 6+ years in people leadership, with a proven ability to manage high-performing teams and build relationships with C-level executives in data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years in sales or business development; including 6+ years people leadership experience.
• History of leading high-performing sales teams through periods of rapid growth in the data center sector.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators, and hyperscalers.

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: assess market intelligence, market characteristics, trends, and growth potential; assess needs and competitors.
• Strategic Planning: develop and drive Data Center vertical market strategy and long-term planning.
• Key Customer Planning & Execution: elevate Data Center team, drive process improvements for customer experience, scale complex solutions.
• Stakeholder Coordination: lead strategy implementation with supply chain, manufacturing, service, and product development.
• Marketing: collaborate to determine materials, trade show participation, and visibility; pursue speaker events.
• Team Management: lead Data Center experts, grow pipeline, hire and train new headcount, coach for performance and career growth.
