Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an experienced Technical Data Center Construction Project Manager to lead MEP construction efforts for a global technology client’s data center. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of critical electrical and mechanical systems to meet strict data center specs.

This role requires 8–10 years of MEP or data center infrastructure experience, a degree in engineering (PE/Architect licensure

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in mission-critical MEP facilities.
• Data center facilities infrastructure experience strongly desired.
• Ability to convey performance expectations and handle obstacles.
• Experience guiding design and construction with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the review, coordination, and integration of MEP system designs with overall project plans.
• Manage project costs, develop schedules, and ensure timely completion within budget.
• Ensure work complies with approved drawings and specifications.
• Act as liaison between clients, architects, engineers, facilities management and construction teams.
• Supervise MEP contractors, monitor progress, and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Prepare construction risk assessments and status reports; manage funds and resource disbursements.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values in negotiations and teamwork.
• Coordinate with teams to achieve project objectives.
