Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Mechanical SME for Critical Facilities to serve as the technical authority for data center mechanical systems. You'll lead assessments, optimize HVAC and cooling strategies, and guide engineering teams and vendors to improve reliability and energy efficiency.

Requires 4+ years in building engineering with HVAC, plumbing, electrical experience in data center environments, EPA 608, CRAC maintenance, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

4+ years of technical experience in building engineering (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
Experience working in Data Centers/Raised Floor environments.
EPA 608 certification and CRAC maintenance experience.
Valid driver’s license and trades school/apprenticeship completed.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee data center HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Maintain MOP processes and environmental protocols.
Lead technical assessments and optimize cooling for high-density servers.
Coordinate with vendors and engineering teams.
Provide after-hours/24x7 support when needed.
