Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) seeks a Mechanical Subject Matter Expert for critical facilities in Amarillo, TX. You will act as the technical authority for complex mechanical systems in hyperscale data centers, lead assessments, optimize HVAC and energy efficiency, and guide engineering teams and stakeholders.

The role requires 4+ years in building engineering with HVAC, plumbing, electrical and production equipment repair.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical building engineering experience focusing on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and equipment repair.
• Experience in Data Centers / raised floor environments is essential.
• EPA 608 Certification is required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee critical HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems for data center operations.
• Design and implement cooling solutions for high-density servers; optimize airflow.
• Lead preventive maintenance and root-cause analyses for system incidents.
• Coordinate with vendors and stake holders; provide after-hours support when needed.
