Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mechanical SME for Critical Facilities in Amarillo to act as the technical authority for complex mechanical systems in large data centers. You will lead assessments, optimize HVAC and related infrastructure, and drive energy efficiency while coordinating with engineering teams and stakeholders.

The role requires strong hands-on experience in data center environments, safety compliance, and the ability to manage preventive maintenance programs and incident responses on a 24x7

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance.
• Experience working in Data Centers/Raised Floor Environment.
• EPA 608 Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems specific to data center operations.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and incident response procedures.
• Lead root cause analysis for system failures and coordinate repairs and upgrades.
