Job summary

JLL is seeking a Lead Engineer for Data Centers to oversee mission-critical facilities onsite in Amarillo, TX. You will manage operations, mentor staff, monitor power, cooling and network systems, and drive reliability and efficiency improvements across multi-site data center infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data center ops, strong leadership, and knowledge of standards such as ASHRAE, TIA, and Uptime Institute; PE license and relevant certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data center operations and management.
• Strong knowledge of power, cooling, and network infrastructure.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE, TIA and Uptime Institute standards.
• Proven leadership and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data center facility operations and maintenance.
• Lead technical staff, engineers, technicians and contractors.
• Monitor critical systems performance and reliability.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Prepare reports and present to management and clients.
