Job summary

JLL is hiring a Mechanical SME for data centers in Claude, TX. You will act as technical authority for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, driving design, maintenance, and reliability improvements in high-density environments.

Responsibilities include incident management, root cause analysis, and leading a team of technicians and engineers. Energy efficiency and compliance with ASHRAE/ISO will be emphasized, with after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical experience in building engineering with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance.
• Experience working in Data Centers/Raised Floor Environment.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Universal EPA 608 Certification and CRAC (Liebert) maintenance/repair experience.
• Licenses as required by authority having jurisdiction.
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems specific to data center operations.
• Apply mechanical engineering principles to improve data center efficiency and reliability.
• Lead preventive maintenance and root cause analysis for system failures or inefficiencies.
• Mentor and guide a team of facility technicians and engineers.
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure optimal system performance.
