Job summary

Google’s Infrastructure Construction and Asset Management (ICAM) Data Center Land Development team seeks a Strategic Negotiator in Reston, VA to secure land entitlements and infrastructure agreements for data center expansion. You will negotiate with project teams, manage vendor and partner relationships, and present deal recommendations to Tech leadership.

The role combines market knowledge with technical savvy to save millions in operating costs and support Google's global infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience of leading negotiations on land entitlements and infrastructure agreements on projects using a combination of internal and external resources.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate deals with project teams to secure land and infrastructure agreements.
• Manage vendor and partner relationships and present deal recommendations to Tech leadership.
• Help save costs by negotiating favorable terms and conditions for Google's infrastructure.
• Coordinate with utilities and local governments for power allocations and data center technology alignment.
