Job summary

Google is seeking a Strategic Negotiator and Portfolio Manager in the AI2/ICAM group based in Thornton, CO. You will lead land acquisition and off-site infrastructure projects, negotiate with providers, manage entitlements and permitting, and ensure alignment with the asset supply plan for rapid data center capacity delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Civil Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in leading and negotiating utility infrastructure, supply, and service agreements.
• 6 years of experience managing land development projects or supporting site planning and development, with a focus on heavy industrial or data center sectors.
• Experience in project management.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time as required.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with providers and AHJs for all utility infrastructure (power, water, wastewater, gas, roads), development, and interconnection agreements.
• Drive campus readiness by managing zoning, entitlements, easements, and environmental permitting.
• Serve as the primary liaison for utility supply strategy to secure resources for planned data center developments.
• Oversee development activities to meet delivery timelines set by internal capacity planning teams.
