Job summary

Google is seeking a Strategic Negotiator and Portfolio Manager within the AI2 and ICAM teams to oversee off-site infrastructure and land development for data centers. You will lead negotiations with providers, manage zoning and permitting, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver sites on time and within capacity plans.

The role requires extensive experience in real estate, industrial development, and data center infrastructure, with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

6 years of experience leading and negotiating utility infrastructure, supply, and service agreements.
6 years of experience managing land development projects or supporting site planning and development, with a focus on heavy industrial or data center sectors.
Experience in project management.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time as required.

Responsibilities

Negotiate with providers and AHJs for all utility infrastructure, development, and interconnection agreements.
Drive campus readiness by managing zoning, entitlements, easements, and environmental permitting.
Serve as the primary liaison for utility supply strategy, facilitating negotiations between internal teams and providers.
Oversee development activities to meet delivery timelines set by internal capacity planning teams.
