Job summary

Google LLC seeks a Land Development and Portfolio Manager to lead pre-construction development on owned sites, finalize entitlements, and coordinate infrastructure to keep projects on schedule and budget. You will partner with cross-functional teams and local jurisdictions to drive long-term operational success.

As part of Google's ICAM group, you will influence major infrastructure decisions, secure utility agreements, and manage post-acquisition site leadership from asset life to end-of-life,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience leading negotiations or business development.
• Master's degree preferred in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate, or related field.
• Experience managing land development, site selection, and real estate transactions for large-scale data centers.
• Experience in agreement drafting, redlining, and delivering presentations.
• Experience leading negotiations on land entitlements and infrastructure agreements.
• Track record with utility providers and local governments to secure power allocations for data centers.
• Expertise in project economics, risk management, budgeting, indirect taxes, and policy.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate utility infrastructure and extension agreements with providers and AHJs.
• Support civil, utility, and building construction programs with zoning, entitlements, and permits.
• Lead liaison with utility providers for supply strategy and capacity for data center developments.
• Manage development activities to meet infrastructure delivery schedules.
