Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a Data Center Technician to support operational integrity of electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain critical infrastructure while working to maximize uptime and cost-efficiency.

The role requires hands-on experience with large commercial systems and strong collaboration with CF Ops Lead Technicians and contractors.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 72, NFPA 25 and building codes related to fire life safety.
• Industrial safety best practices (lockout/tag out, arc flash, OSHA) are required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics and interpret technical documents.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Develops cost-effective operating approaches to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
• Maintain and monitor mechanical, electrical, and fire life safety systems.
• Inspect parts, read blueprints, and install components with hand tools.
• Operate, monitor, and respond to abnormal conditions in facilities systems.
• Coordinate with contractors and QA teams on upgrades and maintenance.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs with CF Ops Lead Technician.
