Protective Life Corporation in Birmingham, AL seeks an IT Operations professional to provide 24/7/365 support for applications, OS and hardware in our Data Center Operations. You will monitor mainframe, AS400, servers, networks and environmental systems, ensuring SLA achievement and rapid incident response.

You will collaborate with IT teams, manage control processes, orchestrate job cycles, and contribute to continuous improvement in IT service delivery.

Competenze

• 1-3 years of technical or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Basic familiarity with Windows and Office applications.
• CompTIA A+/Network+ certifications are a plus.

Mansioni

• Monitor mainframe, distributed systems, and environmental equipment to maintain availability.
• Support IT operations and job scheduling to meet SLAs.
• Manage incident handling, escalation, and communication per procedures.
• Assist in Change/Problem/Incident Management and DR activities.
