Job summary

Arvato is seeking a Data Center Installer to join our team. You will work inside client data centers delivering, positioning, and installing server racks to build cloud infrastructure, with safety and customer service as priorities.

You will arrive on site with equipment, follow procedures, and communicate clearly with managers and colleagues. Heavy lifting, travel, and flexibility are part of the role in a dynamic data-center environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 60-80 pounds with occasional up to 110 pounds using safe lifting methods.
• Ability to travel for business needs.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Basic experience with hand and power tools; experience with structured cabling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at clients' sites on time with required equipment, uniform, procedures and PPE.
• Unload and unpack with power tools and position server racks.
• Cable server racks by patching and dressing fibre and copper cables.
• Provide professional customer service and follow health, safety and security procedures.
• Report arrival times, delays, safety concerns and completion times; complete daily checklists.
• Perform other duties as assigned within skills and competencies.
