Job summary

Arvato is a leading global 3PL provider delivering data center integration services. The Data Center Installer works inside client data centers to install server racks and build cloud infrastructure, with safety and customer service as priorities.

You will arrive prepared, unload and position IT hardware, patch cables, and provide timely reports. Travel may be required; a collaborative team environment and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 60-80 pounds and occasional up to 110 pounds with safe technique.
• Experience with hand and power tools and structured cabling preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at client sites on time with required equipment, PPE, and documentation.
• Unload, unpack, and position server racks using appropriate tools.
• Cable server racks by patching fibre and copper cables; follow cabling standards.
• Deliver professional customer service and adhere to safety and client procedures.
• Communicate progress, delays, and safety concerns to managers and planners.
• Complete daily checklists and administrative reports; other duties as assigned.
