Job summary

Trane Technologies in Greenville, SC seeks an Area Service Manager to lead Service Repair, Upgrades/Enhancements, Service Agreements and installations. You’ll collaborate with Sales for pricing and drive technician recruitment, training and scheduling.

Responsibilities include P&L oversight, revenue forecasting, and ensuring safety, quality and customer satisfaction while managing budgets and cross-functional teams across district sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in HVAC or related field.
• 3+ years managing large teams and organizing work schedules.
• Project management skills to oversee and drive successful projects.
• Tech-savvy with Microsoft applications; Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with clean record.

Responsibilities

• P&L responsibility with monthly revenue forecasting.
• Drive service agreement base growth and turnkey project growth with sales.
• Budget control including overhead items like fleet, tools and safety equipment.
• Manage risk in service agreements, turnkey and repairs work.
• Oversee service coordination and technician development; ensure appropriate training.
• Drive continuous improvement through performance management and training programs.
• Ensure margins, cash flow and invoicing are optimized post-work completion.
• Maintain EH&S compliance and safe work environment at sites.
