Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments and system administration commands.
• Basic TCP/IP networking and cabling understanding.
• Scripting in BASH, Python, Perl for admin tasks.
• Familiarity with AI tools or prompts for CLI commands and logs.
• Ability to lift hardware and perform physical work in a data center.
• On-site work at Lockport, NY with 24x7x365 shift rotations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair rack-mount servers, storage, and network gear to keep high uptime.
• Prioritize incoming requests by urgency and impact.
• Diagnose hardware, network, and system issues across infra disciplines.
• Leverage AI-assisted log analysis to isolate faults and speed MTTR.
• Identify repetitive tasks and automate with AI-enabled scripts.
• Use in-house tools to deploy OS, update DNS, configure switches,Provision hosts.
• Collaborate with site engineering and platform teams on complex changes.
• Communicate incident status and resolutions to internal contacts.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools to improve speed and accuracy.
• Work swing/overnight shifts in a continuous support rotation.
