Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a Business Development Manager – Data Centers in the United States to drive growth in the Commercial & Industrial Data Center segment. You will identify opportunities, cultivate trusted client relationships, and coordinate with engineering, legal, and product teams to deliver tailored energy solutions for hyperscale and colocation customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum 8 years in business development, sales, or account management in C&I markets.
Proven success in achieving sales targets and revenue growth.
Strong understanding of data center and C&I market trends and technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute business development strategies for the C&I Data Center market.
Identify, qualify, and advance opportunities across hyperscale and colocation customers.
Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key stakeholders.
Collaborate with engineering, commercial, legal, and product teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Analyze market trends and customer needs to uncover growth opportunities.
Represent Hitachi Energy at industry conferences, trade shows, and events.
Prepare market insights that support sales and marketing initiatives.
