Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Account Manager for Data Center - Colocations, with emphasis on building and expanding relationships across key Data Center accounts in the United States. You will manage pipelines, plan accounts, and drive strategic initiatives to support reliability and innovation in power grid solutions.

Preferred locations include Denver, CO and nearby states, with up to 30% travel. The role offers remote work options and comprehensive benefits through Hitachi Energy.

Qualifications

• Candidate must already have work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree.
• 10 years’ experience in technical Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and/or Marketing.
• Experience working with clients in the Data Center market.
• Experience building and managing customer account relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales strategies from customer priorities and long-term plans.
• Define sales targets and growth margins for assigned accounts.
• Follow a structured process to achieve sales targets.
• Lead development and implementation of account plans.
• Design executive relationship strategies and coverage plans for assigned accounts.
• Prioritize opportunities and identify targets for solution elements within account plans.
• Establish and develop customer relationships based on defined account strategies.
• Monitor competitor activity within assigned accounts and support implementation of response strategies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
