Job summary

Astreya is seeking a Field Technician II to support data centers and POPs across assigned locations, including installation, repair, and maintenance. The role requires travel and coordination with network teams and local vendors.

You will deploy rack and stack configurations, perform tests, document discrepancies, and assist in vendor management while upholding telecom quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with 2–5 years’ related experience or training.
• Strong knowledge of data center and POP infrastructure and cabling.
• Experience with telecom/network equipment testing and standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high quality standards across all data center locations and POPs.
• Perform physical installation, repair, maintenance, and testing as directed.
• Assist with card adds/replacements, software upgrades, and testing.
• Coordinate with vendors and LECs for timely installations and maintenance.
• Support site surveys, audits, and data reconciliation with Network Surveillance.
