Job summary

Astreya Partners, LLC is seeking a Field Technician II to support data centers and Points of Presence (POPs) across multiple locations. You will coordinate with network teams and local vendors for installation, repair and maintenance activities, including rack and stack deployments.

The role requires travel and involves performing site surveys, testing and validation of telecom/network equipment, and ensuring compliance with MOPs and quality standards in a fast-paced IT services environment.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of related experience or training.
• Knowledge of data center and POP infrastructure, including OSP/ISP cabling and power systems.
• Familiarity with telecom testing equipment and procedures.
• Ability to coordinate with LECs, technicians, landlords, and vendors.
• Ability to work independently and diagnose issues with minimal supervision.
• Experience with spreadsheets and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality standards across data center locations and POPs.
• Perform installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of telecom equipment.
• Assist with card adds/replacements, software upgrades, and testing.
• Propose process improvements to boost efficiency and asset quality.
• Provide site survey support for projects and audits for data accuracy.
