Job summary

Ericsson Inc. is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation and maintenance of infrastructure in hyperscale and enterprise data centers. You will perform rack-and-stack, cabling, equipment provisioning and testing while upholding safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year experience in data center ops or IT infra, with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently under documented procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of data center operations or IT infrastructure experience.
• Working knowledge of data center hardware, racks, servers, networking gear, PDUs and cabling.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and installation docs.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, storage and related infrastructure per docs.
• Route and terminate copper/fiber cabling with proper labeling and cable management.
• Provision equipment and perform basic testing and OOB management tasks.
• Perform MACD activities and FRU replacements per procedures.
• Maintain installation records, test results and as-built docs.
• Identify design/operational risks and escalate to senior staff.
