Job summary

Ericsson Inc. is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure in hyperscale and enterprise environments.

The role suits technicians with data center, telecom, or IT infra backgrounds who can work independently on standard deployment and operational tasks. Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certification or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years in data center ops, cabling, telecom, or IT infra.
• Working knowledge of data center hardware, racks, servers, networking gear, and PDU.
• Understanding of copper and fiber cabling, basic optical concepts, and installation standards.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, installation docs, and MOPs.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, storage, and related infra per designs and docs.
• Terminate and label copper/fiber cabling with proper management and standards.
• Install PDUs, connect to power sources, verify power/connectivity.
• Provision equipment, install hardware components, and manage out-of-band connections.
• Perform testing and validation, including continuity and fiber checks.
• Execute MACDs and FRU replacements per approved procedures.
• Maintain installation records, test results, inventory, and as-built docs.
• Identify design issues, operational problems, and safety risks for escalation.
