Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data center operations, structured cabling, telecommunications, field services, or IT infrastructure support.
• Working knowledge of data center hardware, racks, servers, networking equipment, power distribution systems, and structured cabling.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, installation documentation, and MOPs.
• Experience performing rack-and-stack, cabling, testing, and equipment installation activities with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technicians, project teams, vendors, and customers while managing assigned work independently.

Responsibilities

• Independently install and deploy servers, network devices, storage, and related infrastructure per designs.
• Install, route, terminate, and dress copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling and cable management.
• Install rack PDUs, connect to power sources, and verify power and management connectivity.
• Perform equipment provisioning, hardware installation, and out-of-band (OOB) management connections.
• Execute testing and validation activities, MACD tasks, and FRU replacements following procedures.
• Maintain installation records, test results, inventory updates, and as-built documentation.
• Identify design concerns, operational issues, and safety risks to senior technicians or site leadership.
