Job summary

Pogue Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for Data Center projects to support field operations on mission-critical sites. You will assist the Superintendent, coordinate subcontractors, monitor safety, and help maintain project schedules while upholding quality standards and owner expectations.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and a desire to grow into a Superintendent role within mission-critical construction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction field experience on commercial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as project assignments require.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing day-to-day construction activities.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractor work to ensure compliance with project schedules, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct routine jobsite walks to verify progress and identify potential issues.
• Assist with project logistics planning, site access control, material deliveries, and laydown areas.
• Maintain organized project documentation, including daily reports, field logs, and progress tracking.
