Job summary

Pogue Construction seeks an Data Center Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent and project team in daily field operations on mission-critical data center projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, monitor safety, maintain schedules, and ensure work aligns with contract documents and owner expectations.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow into a Superintendent role within mission-critical construction.

Qualifications

2+ years of construction field experience.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel as project assignments require.

Responsibilities

Assist the Superintendent in managing day-to-day construction activities.
Coordinate and monitor subcontractor work to ensure schedules, specs, and quality.
Conduct routine jobsite walks to verify progress and identify potential issues.
Assist with project logistics planning, site access control, material deliveries, and laydown areas.
Maintain organized project documentation, including daily reports, field logs, and progress tracking.
Promote and uphold safety culture; participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks.
Support quality assurance/quality control processes and inspections.
