Job summary

F6 Data Solutions is seeking a Field Operations Manager for Data Center HVAC in a hybrid role. You will lead field technicians, Site Leads, and project staff, shaping workforce performance and development while ensuring safety and quality across mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities include coaching, performance management, workforce planning, and collaboration with HR to build bench strength and maintain culture in a traveling field organization.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading technical field-service personnel in HVAC, data centers, or similar.
• Proven coaching, performance management and employee accountability experience.
• Experience interviewing, selecting and developing technical staff.
• Strong understanding of technical field-service operations.
• Ability to evaluate performance via observation and stakeholder feedback.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading distributed or traveling field teams.
• Strong organizational, judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to balance employee needs with customers, projects and business needs.
• Must have valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance and accountability of assigned field employees.
• Set clear expectations for performance, safety, productivity, and conduct.
• Conduct regular performance check-ins and reviews.
• Collaborate with HR on disciplinary actions and development.
• Partner with Site Leads and Project Managers to deploy the right workforce.
• Evaluate field performance and provide coaching for improvement.
• Support workforce planning and succession planning.
• Attend to safety compliance and incident follow-up.
